The transformation of a Nephilim

Based on Page 220 in the book 'The Fallen'
The main character Aaron Corbet's transformation.

Aaron screamed long and hard in the mélange of pain and relief as feathered appendages emerged from his back, languidly unfurling to their full and glorious span. Wings. The wings were solid black, like those of a crow, and glistened wetly. He glanced down at the strange markings that covered the flesh of his body.

^ It's a cut down part slightly, but that is mainly the description I worked from. I also had to keep note he was 18, so I wanted his figure to be somewhat, lanky and also keep a similar hairstyle to my previous drawings.

The markings didn't go as well to plan, they don't really cover enough of him, but it annoyed me how many times I went to change things I did on there to get them to look normal. Along with the wings, they don't seem as large as I planned them to be.

It was sketched in H5 pencil, hence the sketch is so light in parts.
